The innovative Baumer Bubble Sensor PAD20 is on the shortlist for the Pump Industry Award 2024, an international trophy recognizing outstanding achievements within the pump industry. The PAD20 is named finalist as it is a smart solution to protect pumps from running dry and to ensure maximum performance and use of resources. That is why the Baumer Bubble sensor is nominated even in two categories: “Product of the Year” and “Environmental contribution of the year”. The nomination is another recognition of the contributions of sensor expert Baumer to push the limits of sensor technology.
PAD20 is a unique sensor, as it is capable of detecting even tiniest gas bubbles in liquids, thus maximizing overall equipment effectiveness. To pump users, PAD20 creates measurable added value by preventing downtime due to pump malfunction caused by gas inclusions. But PAD20 is not only good at protecting pumps. Reliable detection of gas bubbles also optimizes the energy efficiency of cooling and heating systems in industrial applications.
The advanced development of Baumer analysis sensor PAD20 fully exploits the performance of integrated electronics in combination with smart algorithms. Baumer has developed the sensor in the first place for a German dairy company where PAD20 solved their decades-old problem of containers not being fully emptied. The high performance sensor is proven for numerous industries and applications.
