VeriSens SmartGrid (patent pending) with automated coordinate alignment of vision sensor and Universal Robot will reduce setup times of robot-compatible vision sensors to only few minutes – while improving precision and eliminating the conventionally required time-consuming and manual hand-eye calibration. Supported are automated image distortion correction in real time, conversion to world coordinates and additional Z-calibration for 3D scaling of coordinates.
VeriSens URCap is the user-friendly Universal Robots app for easy installation and integration of vision sensors into the program sequence. Two additional commands (nodes) suffice to benefit from the versatile VeriSens image processing potential.
Where others only see grayscales, the patented Baumer FEX image processor for the VeriSens vision sensors calculates object contours at the subpixel level in real time. This means that your image processing functions reliably and quickly at all times, even in unstable ambient light conditions.
