Together with my teammates, I take care of information security at Baumer. We handle various requests in the field of information security, where we develop solutions in collaboration with our external partners, team members and our Head of IT.

What qualities do you need to be successful in your job?

A deep understanding of the technologies and structures used is, of course, the basis. In addition, you should have a general interest in different technologies and an affinity for explaining basic IT concepts in a simple way. In addition, there is a need to protect and the flexibility and willingness to react spontaneously and quickly in case of an emergency.

How did you come to Baumer?

After my experiences in recruit school with the military police, I was looking for a job where not only the knowledge I had acquired in my IT apprenticeship would be valued, but also my security-oriented thinking. When I heard about the opportunity to join Baumer in the information security department through our HR manager, the path was clear to me.
