PinPoint LED with two beam geometries
The Baumer PinPoint LED is a tiny, sharp and homogeneous light spot. Compared to standard LEDs, PinPoint LEDs are ideal for the detection of particularly small objects (pointed beam). The linear beam type proves itself on perforated objects.
qTeach
qTeach®, the comfortable and wear-free teach-in procedure by Baumer, allows flexible and accurate adjustment of the sensors. The shortened 1-step teach-in procedure is available for simple applications.
Ambient light immunity
The optical sensors with innovative ambient light algorithm ensure maximum detection reliability in any lighting situation. The interfering sources identified by the algorithm are suppressed and a consistently high measurement speed is ensured.
qTarget – fast installation without fine-tuning
Sensors with qTarget allow a fast and easy installation without fine-tuning as well as a fast exchange. The Baumer design aligns the sensor’s light beam to the fixing holes. This will not only compensate tolerances between individual components but ensures consistent alignment accuracy within the complete sensor series.
User-friendly CAD data
Baumer provides secondary 3D MCAD data for the photoelectric sensors as well as for other sensors. These data ease engineering work right at the stage of selecting the right sensor. Such data enable easy visual prechecks with the help of a 3D preview. Furthermore, the 3D models integrate the beam path which therefore eliminates manual construction effort. This will reduce error potential and engineering time.
