These are the code reader benefits

Our stationary, camera-based 1D/2D code readers reliably detect almost any type of code such as barcodes (1D codes like EAN/GTIN), matrix codes (2D codes like DataMatrix), direct part marking (DPM) or dot-peened codes. In addition to well-known 1D and 2D codes, the IDC multicode reader series and the VeriSens ID code readers also read numbers, characters and symbols of any font, including dot matrix.

Our code readers are deployed in many varied industries and applications, such as intra-logistics, assembly technology or the food industry.

The benefits at a glance:

  • Fast: Code readers can read 1D/2D codes quickly and precisely which cuts down on the time required for processing transactions or collecting information.
  • Precision: Baumer code readers are very accurate and will even read codes that are slightly damaged, partially covered or arranged in different directions.
  • User-friendly: The IDC and VeriSens code readers are extremely easy to use without requiring additional training.
  • Cost-effective: Code readers have a low Total Cost of Ownership. They reduce control effort and this way contribute towards error elimination.
