Not only does Baumer develop technological solutions to improve industrial operations to save resources, but we also actively work with our community and partners to make a difference locally. For Thanksgiving and the Holiday season, employees at Baumer North America launched a food and toy drive to help families in need.

Baumer North America Provides 274 Meals for Families in Need

This year, leading up to the Holiday season, Baumer North America raised a total of 330 pounds of food, corresponding to 274 meals for families in need according to Feed America. This was done both in person and virtually through #GiveHealthy organization. All donations will go to Connecticut Food Bank and Salvation Army, who will distribute items to people in need.

The Baumer North America Angel Tree – Toys for 30 children and teenagers

In partnership with the Bristol Salvation Army, Baumer agreed to sponsor 30 children and teenagers as part of the annual Angel Tree program, which provides new clothing and toys for children of needy families in Bristol, Connecticut. Baumer employees in North America generously granted the wishes of the children with bicycles, tablets, clothing, and other toys for the angels.

I was thrilled to have the opportunity to help grant local children's Christmas wishes alongside my colleagues with the Salvation Army Angel Tree. Just thinking about the impact that this will make to brighten so many families day is truly a gift in itself,” says Deanna Barney, Inside Sales Specialist for Baumer North America.
