Bringing lab automation technology into the future with smart sensor solutions. At SLAS 2025, sensor expert Baumer will demonstrate how new automation technologies help solve lab automation applications reliably, including detection of transparent samples, position of samples and carriers, and fill level monitoring.

The broad  product portfolio and in-depth application expertise makes Baumer sensor solutions a prime choice for implementing customer-specific solutions. Highlights on display at SLAS include:

Ultrasonic sensors with NexSonic technology: With NexSonic, Baumer has developed a measurably better ultrasonic technology that sets new standards. It enables response times of only 10 ms, a minimal blind zone (10 mm) and smart filter functions. Thanks to the adjustable sound beam (narrow, medium, wide), the sensors can be optimally adapted to the application.

Award-Winning PLP70 Potentiometric Level Sensor: The PLP70 was made for high-performance in time-critical and demanding production processes. The sensor enables a more flexible use for efficient process monitoring.

Expert talk: Baumer will present a special session on “The Future of Lab Automation” at SLAS’s Solution Spotlight Theater on January 27th at 10:30 am. Focusing on trends and sensor solutions for the lab automation industry, conference attendees can join the expert talk at booth 2907 at no additional cost.

The Baumer Booth (Booth 146) is set up for attendees to get a hands-on experience with innovative sensor solutions for lab automation applications with live demonstrations of Baumer sensor technology. Trying out the sensors and talking to the Baumer experts will give visitors new ideas for their own design or production.
