How can you effectively save resources?
To ensure food safety, systems in the food industry are cleaned several times per day. During phase separation in the CIP process, every second counts to ensure saving of valuable resources. Each second counts
With the help of a conductivity sensor, it can be determined which medium is involved in the cleaning cycle at the time. It measures the electric conductivity very precisely and uses this as the basis to deduce the type of medium: for example milk, water, acid, or lye. In addition to the precision, the response time is also an important influencing factor for measurements. First most for the detection of the liquid to allow the controller to react quickly and secondly for the adjustment to changing temperatures.
