Career opportunities for students

Internship

As an intern with us, you usually receive one or a few smaller projects, which you will drive forward independently during your assignment. In addition, you support your team with other tasks that arise. You will be with us for a limited period of time, at best about 6 months, in a 100% workload. Our internships are usually advertised on our job market six months before the start of the internship.

Working Student Position

In a working student position, you are employed on an hourly basis in addition to your studies. Your team determines with you on which days you work and we would be happy if you stay with us for a longer period of time. During the semester, you can of course rely on our flexibility in terms of workload in demanding phases (e.g. exam time). Enrolment at a university or college is a prerequisite for this employment.

Thesis

As a diploma student, you write your bachelor's or master's thesis with us. A collaboration can either be established by looking at our job market, where thesis topics are regularly advertised, or you can proactively apply to us with a topic proposal. In the latter case, too, many successful thesis projects have emerged, as we check your request directly with the relevant company divisions.

Dual studies

Dual studies in Germany

Baumer offers dual studies in Germany primarily in the fields of technical sales, industrial engineering, electrical engineering and information technology. The theoretical training takes place at a dual university in the region of the respective location. Current offers for dual study programs are advertised on our job market, subject to availability.
