Configuration flexibility enables integration into almost any train control and JRU system. Baumer sensors are qualified for multiple train control systems (ETCS, ZUB, CBTC) and Juridical recoring units (JRU)

Speed and distance measurement

  • Compliant with EN 50128 / EN 50129 SIL2 for simplified safety case
  • Configurable, for example number of pulses per revolution (ppr) and electronic interfaces (HTL, current) 
  • Adaptable to specific requirements of the control unit with a wide range of additional functions, e.g. driving direction
  • Multi-unit axle encoder with non-retroactivity between encoder units
