Ultraviolet (UV) technology

The Baumer UV industrial cameras of the LXT series are industry-capable 10 GigE Vision ultraviolet cameras. Their highly sensitive Sony IMX487 UV sensors enable image capture in the non-visible light spectrum of 200-400 nm wavelength.

Due to the good UV sensitivity of BSI image sensors, the standard monochrome IMX536 can also be considered for UVA (315–400 nm) applications.
For imaging in the UVB (280–315 nm) and UVC (<280 nm) range, the IMX487 provides a much higher quantum efficiency and is therefore the better choice.

The combination of an UV sensor and a 10 GigE camera offers new application possibilities, even at high speeds, for example in the recycling and electronics industries.
