This mixture does work fine: A visionary idea, high-tech components at their best, and enthusiastic students working together to achieve a great goal. Welcome to the Innovation Park Zurich. On the grounds of the Dübendorf airfield, 35 students from ETH Zurich and other universities are working on prototypes for the high-speed mobility of the future in the Swissloop project. 

Early detection of rejects in the production process is crucial for efficient product manufacturing. The smart OX profile sensors from Baumer offer an ideal solution here. Naturally, early detection of rejects is also central to the production of our profile sensors, which is why a team of students from the HTWG in Constance has had the opportunity to work extensively on this topic over the past semester.

Deciding early on for the right course of studies and profession is not an easy thing. That’s why we were happy to being presented the opportunity of meeting young committed students at the recent information event, the "Market of Opportunities", initiated by the THM University in Wetzlar to offer young talents better orientation about dual study programs.

Baumer is supporting Swissloop again this year - a project team of ETH students that has set itself the goal of developing a new Hyperloop pod within a year. What does that mean? Almost 30 innovative, smoking heads, a shared vision and a whole lot of startup vibe in the project hangar in the innovation park in Dübendorf, Switzerland.

Last week, Baumer hhs GmbH took 2nd place in the award for the most family-friendly companies in Krefeld.

Seen from below, the climbing wall seems infinitely high. Fortunately, we don't have to do it alone. At the trainee event with our six trainees in Berlin, we took on this challenge.
