Baumer innovations are well-received, both by users and the professional audience of the trade magazine "messtec drives Automation" (Wiley). The smart level sensor CombiLevel PLP70 has finished first place in the voting for the AutomationsBest Award in the category Best Product. Product manager Julian Budde received the award at SPS 2023 in Nuremberg.

Sensor and industrial camera expert Baumer strives to find new ways in order to offer customers measurable added value. A current example from industrial image processing are the industrial cameras of the CX series with integrated cooling pipe. So far, in high temperature environments the camera housing used to be embedded in external cooling components to ensure constant camera temperature. Such effort is time consuming and adds to camera dimensions. To counteract this drawback, Baumer has extended the CX series by cameras with integrated cooling. The patented cooling pipe of the CX.XC cameras space-savingly winds its way inside the camera housing to ensure thermal stability within an instant. 
 

For the 11th time in a row, Baumer as principal sensor supplier was awarded the status "Preferred Supplier" by Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG, shortly Heidelberg. As a supplier, Baumer stands out by excellent performance and competence.

Just a year after the market launch, the compact Baumer analysis sensor PAC50 has won over leading experts. This has been revealed by both readers and users who were requested by the trade journal Computer&Automation to vote for the Product of the Year 2023. PAC50 got the most votes In the sensor category and hence took first place.
